How to read the cards

Before you buy anything

PricesUS dollars, read from each project’s own BOM, docs or store page on 25 Oct 2026 (Thor states euros, so it shows euros). “Under” and “from” mean the project gave only one end. Prices move, and tariffs and shipping aren’t included.
Kit vs DIY partsA kit arrives as one box. DIY means you order parts and print the rest. Printers, filament and tools aren’t counted.
EstimatesOtto, pib and SpotMicro have no official total, so those are marked as estimates. OpenQuadruped and Puguette show no price at all rather than a guess.
LevelBeginner needs a screwdriver. Intermediate adds soldering or setup. Advanced adds custom boards, machining or tuning. It’s a judgement from each project’s docs.
